Learning Objectives:
After watching this video,
the viewer should:
- Gain a better
understanding of what ADPAC is, and what causes it serves

topics that ADPAC supports

ADPAC, or the American
Dental Political Action Committee, is a Political Action Committee of the
American Dental Association. Through
financial contributions of member dentists and dental students, ADPAC supports
candidates, ballots, or legislation in favor of oral healthcare initiatives.
The causes for which ADA has
lobbied for range from clinical topics, such as the use of amalgam or water
fluoridation, to provider-related issues such as dental licensure processes and
scope of practice, to more overarching topics like healthcare reform, medical
taxation, the handling of student loans and debt. ADPAC fights to preserve the rights of
practicing dentists and dental students all around the country. To learn more about joining ADPAC or your
local board members--or even to make a donation--visit http://www.adpac.ada.org.
