Pediatric patients are largely affected by dental caries. In fact, the National Institute of Dental & Craniofacial Research indicates that 42% of children between 2 and 11 have had dental caries in their primary teeth. Also, Black and Hispanic children as well as those living in families with lower incomes, in fact, have more decay. This THE NEXTDDS podcast features educator and pediatric dentist Dr. Greg Psaltis.
