Learning Objectives:

  • See how not-for-profit organizations are working to raise oral health awareness in the United States, and how they can help

Benito Delgado-Olson is the Executive Director and Co-founder of “K to College”, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to expanding oral healthcare to the underserved, underprivileged, and homeless populations in the state of California. Recently, K to College, with assistance from California public school districts and the California Dental Association, held and event in San Francisco wherein they provided more than 12,000 homeless children with free oral hygiene kits consisting of toothbrushes, toothpaste, brush timers, floss, and more. In this podcast, we talked with Benito about this event, as well as his organization’s overall focus of bringing dental care to the entire homeless and underprivileged population of California.
